Machines do. Managers decide. Leaders develop.
AI is changing what managers do. Jon Harmeling helps leaders use AI to remove administrative work, keep human judgment where it belongs, and reinvest the capacity AI creates into people, customers, and performance.
AI for Significance.
A short highlight reel from Jon Harmeling’s keynotes on Frontline AI Leadership: using AI not only to accomplish more, but to create more capacity to coach, develop, and lead people well.
AI creates capacity. Leadership determines what that capacity becomes.
Managers are buried in reporting, scheduling, document drafting, inbox triage, and repetitive coordination. AI can remove more of that work. The real question is what happens next. The organizations that win will deliberately reinvest recovered capacity into better decisions, stronger people, better customer experiences, and the development of future leaders.
One flagship keynote. Additional talks when the room calls for them.
Frontline AI Leadership is the centerpiece: Machines do. Managers decide. Leaders develop. Additional talks go deeper on the manager-to-leader transition or significance when that is the better fit for the event.
Frontline AI Leadership: Machines Do. Managers Decide. Leaders Develop.
A practical keynote for leaders using AI to remove administrative work, strengthen human judgment, and reinvest capacity into people.
Significance in the Age of AI
AI is handing leaders back their hours. This talk is about what they are for.
How AI Forces the Manager-Leader Choice
AI is eating the manager half of the job. What is left is the leader half, and most managers were never taught it.
Managers decide.
Leaders develop.
A leadership book for the work AI gives back.
Most AI books focus on what the technology can do. Frontline AI Leadership focuses on what leaders should do next.
The book explores how AI can remove administrative work, improve human judgment, and help leaders coach better, develop people, build stronger teams, and turn productivity gains into significance.
AI creates capacity. Leadership determines what that capacity becomes.

Occasional ideas, experiments, prompts, and lessons on using AI to remove work, improve judgment, and develop people. No hype.
Leadership tested where the work actually happens.
I am a West Point graduate and former West Point systems engineering instructor. I served in the Army, supported SOCOM teams in a project management capacity, and now operate a Chick-fil-A where AI is being applied inside a real frontline business with real employees, customers, and P&L pressure.
Frontline AI Leadership comes from that operating environment. The premise is simple: machines can do more of the repeatable work, managers must still own the decisions, and leaders should reinvest the capacity AI creates into developing people.
Faith, family, and significance are what I actually care about. AI is a tool. The goal is to use it in ways that make organizations perform better without making the people inside them matter less.
